Technical Sales Advisor - Agri
We are seeking a Technical Sales Advisor to oversee the East Wicklow region of Ireland. This is a full-time permanent role offering excellent benefits and a competitive salary package.
About Our Client
Our client is a leading International Agribusiness that sources, produces, and sells a range of conventional commodity fertilizers, specialty fertilizer and soil conditioning products, animal mineral blocks, and bio-stimulants.
The Role
1. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients in the agricultural industry.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with local co-ops and merchants.
3. Provide technical advice and support to farmers regarding our range of products and our soil sustainability program.
4. Attend trade shows and other industry events to promote the company's products and services.
5. Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and identify new business opportunities.
6. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver superior technical advice at a local level on farm.
* Support the growth of the business through strong relationships with clients and partners.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans.
Requirements
* A background in farming or a relevant qualification.
* Commercial knowledge and sales and advisory skills experience.
* Able to work hard to succeed in a rapidly changing market-place.
* Techincally minded with an ability to create and close sales opportunities.
* Full driver's license.
