My client a well-known big box retailer in Arklow is recruiting a Retail Marketing Executive.
This is a great role which comes with a lot of autonomy and scope to grow the marketing department and in turn move up the ladder to marketing manager.
Reporting to the General Manager and working very closely with the retail team, the suppliers, and the website developer this is a very varied and broad role with a mix of both traditional and digital marketing.
Package: Salary is €35k but negotiable depending on experience, hybrid, free parking, and flexible working hours.
Ideal Requirements:
1. A good understanding of the retail market is an advantage
2. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Power point), Desktop publishing (Photoshop) and Systems tools (Canva, Brandwatch or similar)
3. Experience in social media analytics and other marketing measurement and performance techniques such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics
4. Digital marketing expertise and technical understanding of digital channels
5. Photography and Video editing skills are desirable
Responsibilities for the job of Retail Marketing Executive:
6. Plan, develop creative, and allocate monthly POS materials to support our store
7. Take ownership from planning to implementation with our design agencies and printers to ensure the effective delivery of marketing collateral to store within agreed deadlines
8. Plan and execution of our monthly promotions
9. Prepare monthly store communications, including briefing documents and marketing updates.
10. Prepare Power point presentations for internal updates
11. Source and/or develop relevant content and other news items for the website
12. Develop and schedule relevant content for our social media platforms
13. Develop graphics for use on social media/web channels, and in store point of sale using Photoshop, Canva, and other systems tools
14. Provide weekly and monthly reporting on digital channel activity with recommendations for optimising our Return on Investment (ROI)
15. Effective project management of store events and local sponsorships from end to end, working with the commercial and operations teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure best in class promotional campaigns and events are executed in store on time and on budget
16. Develop integrated online/offline marketing support plan for each promotional campaign and event
17. Attendance at store events and local sponsorships to ensure best in class execution
18. Analyse and report on each campaign
19. Point of contact for the store with day-to-day marketing related queries
20. Provide marketing material as required
21. Report on performance of marketing activity including campaign tracking and KPI reports
22. Responsible for managing the budget, including raising purchase orders, budget tracking and liaising with finance on any queries
23. Proactively engage and contribute to other projects within the and assist other teams across the wider business as required
