Teach Disengaged Students in a Residential Setting
About the Role
As a Social Care Worker with our Client, you will be part of a team providing quality residential care and support for young people aged 12-17. Our Client is committed to putting the child at the heart of everything they do, tailoring their approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Your Responsibilities
* Contribute to the assessment and behaviour management plan for children and young people, ensuring their needs are met and supported throughout their journey to independence and adulthood.
* Teach young people who are not engaged in school, delivering one-to-one and group sessions within the residential setting.
* Support young people who are engaged in school by helping them complete their homework and fostering a love of learning.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A Level 7 or 8 qualification in Social Care or equivalent.
* A full driving licence and flexibility to work varying shifts, including 15 and 24-hour rotations.
