We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Health & Safety Manager to join our growing team at EasyGo. The Health & Safety Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and customers while overseeing health, safety, and compliance efforts across all sites. This position will also be responsible for conducting ISO audits, performing regular site visits, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in safety management, knowledge of EV charging infrastructure, and familiarity with ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety Management:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor safety performance, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
3. Ensure the company meets or exceeds safety standards across all operations, including installation, maintenance, and management of EV charging stations.
4. Provide health and safety training programs for employees, contractors, and other stakeholders.
5. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend actions to prevent recurrence.
6. Maintain a record of safety performance metrics and report findings to senior management.
7. Hold & conduct monthly H&S meetings with all H&S Committee.
ISO Audits & Compliance:
1. Lead and manage internal ISO audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems) and other relevant ISO standards.
2. Prepare and facilitate external ISO certification audits.
3. Ensure continuous improvement and alignment with ISO standards and best practices related to health and safety management.
4. Maintain all records related to audits, certifications, and compliance activities.
Site Visits & Inspections:
1. Conduct regular site visits to EV charging stations, construction sites, and other company operations to assess health and safety performance and compliance. (Company Vehicle Provided)
2. Provide actionable recommendations to site managers and contractors for improving safety measures.
3. Assist with the identification and mitigation of risks specific to the EV charging industry.
Reporting & Documentation:
1. Prepare and submit regular reports on health & safety performance to senior management and regulatory bodies.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation, including risk assessments, incident reports, safety data sheets, and training records.
3. Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant local and international regulations pertaining to health & safety within the EV sector.
Emergency Response & Risk Management:
1. Oversee emergency response plans and ensure all staff are trained in emergency procedures.
2. Evaluate and recommend appropriate safety equipment and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for site personnel.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
1. Level 8 in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is a must.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably within the energy, construction, or EV infrastructure sectors.
3. Proven experience with ISO 45001 audits and certification processes.
4. Experience in site safety management for construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.
5. Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations is a plus.

1. Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and industry best practices.
2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
3. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement practical safety solutions.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
6. Proficient in using safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
