About the Role - Team Leader, Fixed Term Contract (until 31st Oct )
Our days are filled with laughter, with a focus on activities on site and externally, from football day trips to parties and pamper sessions, our service prides itself on being customer led.
Our close-knit management team, help our support staff to provide 24-hour support 7 days a week, and they require a motivated and enthusiastic leader to join the team.
You will be required to co-ordinate and supervise a team of support staff in delivering a high standard of social care practice using a person-centred approach that reflects individual customer's needs wants and aspirations. As a Team Leader you will occasionally cover support delivering direct care including medication administration, personal care and moving and assisting. Meaning it’s not all about paperwork, you still get some hands on practice.
A key part of this role is to coach, monitor, mentor and develop the skill base within the staff team, you will do this by displaying Leadership skills such as role modelling, decision making, being an effective communicator, having a positive attitude, commitment and confidence in the role.
The hours of work are generally Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, 37 hours per week, as well as weekends and on call, which is planned in advance, enabling you to plan life outside of work responsibilities.
