We are seeking an entrepreneurial sales executive who thrives in the high-energy, high-potential environment of an early-stage startup. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated hunter with a proven track record of building complex enterprise sales pipelines from the ground up, someone who views challenges as opportunities and is energized by the prospect of transforming a promising concept into a market-leading solution.
This role offers an extraordinary opportunity to be a foundational team member. You will be a key driver of our business growth, working across multiple teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, grow existing client accounts and enhance our partnership channel.
You will be pivotal in developing relationships with senior decision-makers, learning and development leads, and sustainability managers. You will educate them on the importance of sustainability knowledge and awareness at all business levels and demonstrate how our courses can support their organisational goals in the evolving green economy. By understanding their specific challenges, you can clearly articulate to them how our training is a strategic solution that helps companies build critical sustainability capabilities and achieve their goals.
We're looking for a strategic, self-motivated sales professional who can work both independently and collaboratively. You'll have the opportunity to play a critical role in our company's growth, turning potential opportunities into meaningful business relationships.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with complex sales cycles, have excellent communication skills, and be passionate about driving business success.
Responsibilities
* Meet and exceed monthly sales targets in line with annual business planning.
* There is an opportunity to grow and develop as a sales leader and to expand and develop the team in Enterprise sales.
* Working closely with team members to identify growth opportunities and partner within core regions in the UK, Ireland and the Rest of Europe.
* Develop and execute a growth and expansion plan, targeting key industries and personas with the Marketing and Senior leadership team.
* Identifying customer needs effectively by consulting with prospects in order to maximise all opportunities and meet customer expectations.
* Use solutions sales methodologies to develop new business and communicate our unique value proposition.
* Manage all stages of generating new business (from prospecting to proposal to closure).
* Develop and maintain a clean sales pipeline through effective CRM use, accurate weekly sales updates, and proactively addressing obstacles.
* Manage senior key stakeholder relationships and build trusted connections with key decision-makers supported by executive sponsorship.
* Having an excellent knowledge of our product portfolio and an understanding of the industry through keeping informed of technical developments, industry trends and lead and competitor analysis.
* Lead negotiations and secure mutually beneficial agreements.
Requirements
* 4+ years of relevant work experience in enterprise sales or a similar field is preferred.
* Previous experience working in the Education market is a plus but optional.
* Strong network and proven success in the UK and EMEA markets.
* Showcases a strong entrepreneurial spirit and wants to be part of building an impactful organisation.
* A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives with a focus on securing new clients.
* Bachelor's Degree in a related area would be an advantage.
* A motivated problem solver with a strong work ethic.
* Highly organised and efficient with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Experience working within a CRM-centric sales organisation. Hubspot experience is a plus but not required.
* Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passionate, positive, resilient, and solution-oriented, with a proactive learning mindset and strong collaborative skills across departments.
