The Role
Find a diversity of caseload and experience
* Mixed Veterinary Surgeon.
* Full-time, permanent role of 40 hours per week plus 1 in 4 on call.
* 1 in 4 Weekends.
* Salary up to €60,000 commensurate with experience level.
* New Graduate Support and Training available.
* January 2025 start date.
This is a purely mixed role where the Veterinarian will be expected to provide veterinary care to both small and large animals. We have a large, experienced team that would be able to support and develop a new graduate or those with less experience in mixed roles.

About Us

O’Shea, Bramley and Breen Vets is a Mixed Veterinary practice based in Wexford. Our practice offers a complete range of veterinary services to cater for all our clients’ and patient’s needs. This includes all routine services you would expect in a modern, established veterinary practice. We also have two fully equipped operating theatres, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, 24-hour emergency cover, pet health checks, dental treatments, ECG and blood pressure monitoring, endoscopy, radiography, pet health clubs and wellness checks. We run a fully stocked shop alongside our practice which provides a wide range of veterinary approved products for both small and large animals. We also work with several small animal rescue groups in our community.
Our team consists of 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Veterinary Nurses, 2 animal care assistants, and 8 support staff. We have two on-site certificate holders, one in Cardiology and one in Anaesthesia. The whole team share a passion for providing the best animal care we can and we are all fully supported and valued in our daily job. We actively encourage CPD and wellness in the workplace and everyone works in a very friendly & supportive atmosphere.
