Join one of the market leaders in Indoor Air Quality and Critical Ventilation Solutions as their Senior Technical Sales Engineer! We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer looking to start in their new role January 2025.
The Technical Sales Engineer will play an integral role in implementing strategies aimed at developing & executing the growth strategy for the Irish market through achievement of both Group and local sales targets.
Some responsibilities will include:
* Collaborate extensively with consulting engineers and other construction stakeholders to address customer challenges and promote a value-based selling approach.
* Establish and strengthen relationships with key customers to build a strong sales pipeline.
* Deliver customer-focused presentations to promote Company products in your target market.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass sales targets in your designated area.
* Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities while fostering long-term partnerships.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of product offerings, technical specifications, and their applications to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
* Assess customer drawings and specifications to recommend and prepare proposals of suitable products.
* Manage quotation processes and ensure timely project acquisition.
* Update and maintain customer data in the company CRM for efficient and accurate information management.
* Accountable for timely and accurate forecasting and reporting on orders, revenue, conversion rates and maintenance of overall pipeline.
* Leverage negotiation and closing skills to secure projects and meet personal KPIs.
* Enhance Company's reputation by delivering innovative, profitable, and strategic solutions.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field.
* Minimum 3 years experience in HVAC Sales within the Irish market.
* Must have working knowledge of the fundamental concepts of heating, ventilating, air conditioning & HVAC systems including basic knowledge of equipment control technology.
* Impeccable communication skills in English.
* Team player with a strong customer-focused attitude.
* Excellent customer-centric and client-facing skills.
* Strong leadership & interpersonal skills.
* Desire to meet and collaborate with customers on a weekly basis.
* A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
