Career Vision Recruiters are currently recruiting for a Cluster Sales Manager based in Dublin City for one of Ireland's best hotel groups. To be successful, you will need to have excellent knowledge of the Dublin Market.
Please note that hybrid work may be considered after probation has been successfully completed.
Main Responsibilities
* Building, managing, and maintaining relationships with local companies.
* Negotiating rate agreements on a local level only.
* Assisting with RFPs as necessary.
* Seeking out and attracting corporate group business.
* Assisting the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing (CDOSM) in building and managing relationships with DMCs and any key local providers.
* Assisting the CDOSM in building and managing relationships with key Tour Operators.
* Assisting the CDOSM in executing the strategy for meetings & events in some properties.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements
* Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of proactive hotel sales experience.
* Experience in the corporate market in Dublin City Centre is preferable, but not essential.
* Must be able to “knock on doors” to get the business; confident and experienced with cold calling, online, and offline research.
* Persuasive negotiating skills and ability to convert business.
* Ability to achieve targets for appointments and converted business.
* Strong customer development and relationship management skills.
* Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, listening, writing) and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems.
* Effective decision-making skills.
