The Role
* Lead & manage a Delivery team of software engineers, testers & business analysts (working with technologies such as Salesforce, MuleSoft, Mainframe & internal legacy applications)
* Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software projects.
* Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
* Drive the team's adherence to Agile development methodologies.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
* Mentor and guide the development team, promoting a culture of excellence.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering.
* Ensure the team has a well-defined backlog of valuable work.
* Lead and implement change, ensuring teams and stakeholders are well informed and aligned.
* Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring good alignment and effective partnerships.
* For Agile teams, help the product owner and team members to prioritize initiatives and sprint releases.
* Remove obstacles and roadblocks that impact the performance of the team.
* Use metrics and tools to understand team performance and efficiency; take actions to improve the efficiency of the team.
* Work with management to ensure strong and diverse talent is in place to meet business needs and goals.
* May serve in a Scrum or Kanban Master role.
What You Offer
* 6+ years of experience in software engineering environment.
* 2+ years of experience leading and managing Agile software development projects.
* Strong experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
* Excellent leadership, technical project management, and mentorship skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Experience leading MuleSoft (or similar) Integration teams is a distinct advantage.
