The continued expansion of our Irish and UK Sales Operations has resulted in the requirement for the following position:
Cleanroom Operative – ESI Technologies Ltd
Reporting to the Cleanroom Lead, this position will be based in our Cork Headquarters located in North Esk Industrial Estate, Dunkettle, Co. Cork.
This is a temporary role incorporating responsibilities for the handling, assembly, inspecting & packaging of assemblies from our Life Science portfolio.
Duties of the Role include:
* Work in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment and adhere to strict gowning instructions, and quality requirements.
* Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to correctly assemble Life Science tubing assemblies.
* Use tools and equipment to complete assembly to exact specification, and in a timely fashion following works order instructions and drawings.
* Identify & report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the relevant member of reporting structure.
* Complete related tasks with minimal supervision.
* Ensure that the appropriate safety guidelines, incl. the use of personal protective equipment, are adhered to.
* Rotating 2 Shift Rota (6am to 2pm) and (2pm to 10pm) Monday to Friday.
* Adherence to companies ISO 9001 Quality, and Health & Safety procedures.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate assembly & inspection function.
Ideally the candidate would possess the following skills/experience:
* Leaving certificate or equivalent.
* Very good manual dexterity skills.
* Work experience in a clean room/manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
* Willingness to be flexible, team oriented and open minded to new processes or changes in direction.
* An innovative & positive can-do approach to work.
* Flexibility to work overtime as required, to ensure that customer-based timelines, and continuous processes are achieved.
* The prospective candidate must be able to demonstrate a professional approach, self-motivation in completing assigned tasks, and must be willing to update their skillset in the company’s core business areas.
* Full driving License.
