Job Title: Senior Fund Administrator

About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Fund Administrator to join our hedge fund operations team in Athlone. This is a key role within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing operational support to a portfolio of hedge fund clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex fund structures and a proven track record in hedge fund administration.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the daily administration and servicing of hedge funds, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of NAVs and investor reporting
* Review and validate complex fund valuations, pricing, income accruals, and performance fee calculations
* Reconcile cash, positions, and trades across multiple counterparties and systems
* Handle investor communications, subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers in accordance with fund documentation and AML/KYC requirements
* Act as a key point of contact for fund managers, investors, auditors, and custodians
* Monitor compliance with fund mandates and regulatory obligations
* Support internal projects, system upgrades, and process automation initiatives
* Provide training and guidance to junior team members
Candidate Profile
* 4+ years’ experience in fund administration, with significant exposure to hedge fund structures (e.g., master-feeder, side pockets, SPVs)
* In-depth knowledge of hedge fund strategies (e.g., long/short equity, global macro, credit, derivatives) and operational intricacies
* Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
* Familiarity with trade life cycle and key instruments (futures, options, swaps, FX forwards, etc.)
* Proficient in fund accounting software and Excel; knowledge of systems such as Advent Geneva, PFS-Paxus, or similar is an advantage
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently under pressure and manage competing priorities
