This hotel is one of a kind, set in beautiful grounds adjacent to Killarney Park and only a twenty minute walk from Killarney town.
Our staff house, where you wil be provided with a single room, is only a 15 minute walk from the hotel.
The Team The Cahernane team is a group of 45 people who work together to deliver a unique, warm and hospitable experience for all our guests.
From accommodation to the kitchen, reception to the restaurant, we all pull together as one team to achieve our goal to delight everyone who crosses the threshold of our hotel.

The Role Reporting to our Head Chef, you will require strong leadership abilities in order to efficiently run your own section, you will be a professional, focused, enthusiastic person with a flare and passion for food.
We are looking for someone with experience working as a Chef De Partie who would like the opportunity to progress further and learn new skills.
Considering the nature of this role and our industry, this position will require you to work a mix of midweek, week-ends, mornings and evenings.
About The Role What's involved in the role:
* Preparing mise en place and menu dishes for service for allocated section to the required standard specifications.
* Ensuring the smooth running of food service in conjunction with the kitchen and restaurant teams.
* Working in an organised, hygienic manner at all times ensuring the HACCP regulations are adhered to.
* Receiving and storing supplier deliveries and stock rotation in accordance with HACCP specifications.
* Maintaining kitchen in a clean and hygienic state.
A person who may be suited to this role will have: Chef de partie experience.
Previous experience in a four star hotel or fine dining restaurant.
Able to work in a pressurised environment, willing to learn and contribute to team efforts.
