We are recruiting a Business Development Manager for our clients, a specialist water filter company. Working a mixture of field, office, and remotely, you will be a trusted advisor to a range of customers and will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term profitable relationships. Reporting directly to the company directors, this is a full-time position, with a hybrid working week offered.
Responsibilities:
1. Developing new business.
2. Identifying new opportunities in both existing and complementary sectors.
3. Support bid process.
4. Proactive development of sales pipeline.
5. Strategic account management.
6. Business development with existing customers.
7. Identifying upsell opportunities.
8. Customer relationship management.
9. Identify customer trends and demands.
The person:
1. 5+ years of sales and business development experience in Engineering or technical setting.
2. Ability to translate technical and business requirements.
3. Strong technical and product background.
4. Available to travel to visit client sites.
