Our client is an exceptional retailer, who are very well known in the world of Grocery Retail.
Not only are the award winning they are expanding they have just completed a huge revamp.
They are seeking a talented General Manager to lead their supermarket operations in Cork.

Position Overview:

The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the supermarket, driving performance, and leading a team of staff members.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in grocery supermarket operations, experience with store revamps, and a proven ability to manage a large store of up to 20,000 sq ft


Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, adherence to company standards, and an exceptional customer experience Manage and execute store revamp projects to enhance layout and improve customer engagement Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategic initiatives.

Maintain a high standard of customer service, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively Collaborate with department heads to optimise inventory management and merchandising strategies Develop budgets, forecast sales, and control costs to achieve financial targets Qualifications: Proven experience in a grocery supermarket management role, with a strong understanding of operations Experience managing teams of staff members in a retail environment.

Demonstrated success in managing store revamps and projects.
Experience managing a supermarket of 20,000 square feet or larger.
