We are hiring a Day Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Mental Health) to a private hospital in Dublin. Permanent, Full time.
Responsibilities
* Ensure ongoing strategic and operational development, coordination, and management in accordance with national and regulatory standards, as well as best practices.
* Maintain the highest level of nursing service provision, delivering top-quality treatment and care while upholding safety measures.
* Uphold compliance with regulatory programs, such as Health & Safety and Risk Management standards.
* Implement operational change programs within the nursing service as a proactive leader.
* Collaborate with residents, family members, nursing staff, caregivers, and other team members in setting goals and planning care.
* Participate in multi-disciplinary healthcare teams and work cooperatively with team members.
Requirements
* Qualified Registered Psychiatric Nurse with An Bord Altranais/NMBI registration or eligibility to register.
* A minimum of five years post-qualification experience, including at least 2 years in mental health.
* Possess the necessary knowledge and abilities, meeting high standards of suitability and demonstrating clinical, managerial, leadership, and administrative competencies.
* Thorough understanding of the Mental Health Commission requirements and excellent knowledge of health, safety, and statutory regulations impacting healthcare organizations.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development at an appropriate level.
* Strong people management experience and skills, with the ability to effectively respond to and manage medical and psychiatric emergencies.
