Sales and Business Development Manager
Our client is a leading supplier of water treatment components operating in the domestic, industrial, and commercial sectors. We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team based in Nenagh Co. Tipperary.
The Role:
As a trusted advisor to customers, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term profitable relationships with key stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing new business opportunities and proactively managing the sales pipeline.
* Designing and executing sales strategies individually and with existing sales teams.
* Identifying new business opportunities in existing and complementary sectors.
* Supporting bid processes including application, fulfillment, demos, and pricing.
* Strategic account management.
* Business development with existing customers, identifying upsell opportunities.
* Customer relationship management.
* Uncovering industry trends and sharing intelligence with Management and sales teams to inform business strategy.
* Collaborating with product management to inform roadmap development.
* Authoring marketing materials such as white papers to share expertise and develop company positioning.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of sales and business development experience in a similar industry, providing direct customer support during and post-implementation. Essential skills include:
* Ability to translate technical and business requirements and adjust communication approach depending on audience.
* Strong technical and product background.
* Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and understand their products and long-term business strategies.
* Ability to build internal and external relationships to support delivery and implementation while enhancing customer experience.
* Experience showcasing products and services as a strategic fit for customers through sales presentations and events.
* Ability to work individually and within a small team.
* Ability to identify integrated opportunities with end-to-end solution delivery requirements.
* Availability to travel and attend conferences.
The Offer:
This is a permanent position with a salary expected to be in the €50K range, with an OTE of €70K plus per annum, depending on experience, along with excellent benefits package, hybrid work schedule, and career development opportunities.
