Director - Governance Function
An exciting opportunity has emerged within a leading global financial group.
About the Role:
* Manage Subsidiary entity Boards and Committees, facilitating internal and Group reporting.
* Provide ongoing governance advice to the business.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including minutes, recording of actions, and liaison with colleagues.
2. Prepare memos, proposals, and documents for review and consideration.
3. Oversee corporate records and documents.
4. Coordinate subsidiary filing requirements with local Registrars and Regulators.
5. Review periodic reporting to Head Office and internal reporting to Boards and Committees.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders on matters related to Subsidiary entities and Committees.
7. Provide comprehensive legal and administrative assistance and guidance.
8. Advise on corporate governance matters and best practice.
9. Update on changes in regulations and legislation.
10. Provide ongoing training and development of staff.
11. Ad hoc projects as required.
Qualifications:
Chartered Governance Institute Qualification (or equivalent) and experience working in governance with sector experience in Fund Administration or broader Financial Services.
