Job Description
A leading company in Dublin seeks a Business Analyst to join their growing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working as a business analyst in financial services/insurance.
Duties:
* Host workshops to elicit requirements from businesses, challenging the status quo and mindset to ensure the best possible design and benefit realization.
* Conduct high-quality business analysis and provide clear business requirement documentation/functional specifications.
* Identify and escalate important system issues.
Requirements & Design
* Work with SMEs to capture to-be processes and supporting documentation with a customer-first mindset - SOPs, procedures, policy updates.
* Evaluate and sign off process documentation in a timely fashion to allow for controlled delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Communication
* Engage proactively with Project Managers, Change Leadership, and functional leaders to document business improvements and/or issues.
Data Reconciliation/Issues
* Support data query log activities.
* Support and drive closure of data issues.
Skills and Experience:
* Candidates should be highly professional, self-motivated with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working as a business analyst in financial services/insurance.
* Significant experience and knowledge of supporting change in a Retail mortgage servicing business; on/offboarding, digital/customer journey/transformation/BAU change.
* Proficient in MS Office including Word, Visio, and Microsoft Excel with experience analyzing large datasets.
* JIRA experience.
* Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
* Data analysis and presentation skills to communicate complex information effectively to all areas of the business.
* Problem-solving and root cause identification skills.
