As a key player in our operations, you will oversee all molding operations, driving performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
What You’ll Do:
* Oversee molding operations, ensuring all standards of performance are met and exceeded.
* Analyze workflow, troubleshoot issues, and identify solutions to optimize production.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated team, ensuring high levels of performance, safety, and morale.
* Set clear goals and KPIs, monitoring and reporting on plant performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and quality compliance.
* Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including ISO 13485 and ISO 14001.
* Manage inventories and ensure the accurate tracking of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
What You’ll Need:
* Experience: At least 5 years of experience in an Injection Moulding or Medical Device manufacturing facility or similar high-volume production environment.
* Have worked as a production manager for a minimum of 3 years
* Skills: Strong leadership, organisational, and communication abilities. Analytical skills to review performance data and implement actionable insights.
* Mindset: Results-driven with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Education: BSc in Engineering or related technical field. Experience and passion are just as important as formal qualifications. Knowledge of IQMS is a plus.
* Technical Proficiency: Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and general manufacturing operations. Ability to drive operational improvements and optimize performance.

* Ensure all safety procedures and policies are adhered to, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
* Manage and review labor, inventory, and performance metrics to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
* Oversee compliance with quality and regulatory standards, driving a culture of innovation and safety.
* Liaise with teams across departments to maintain and improve production and customer satisfaction.
