Are you a Business Analyst with experience in SAP Materials Management? My client is looking for a technically savvy Business Analyst who can support, configure and implement on SAP.
My Cork based client, a leader in the technology sector, has an opening for a Business Analyst who will work across SAP Supply Chain Management. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be on site 3 days per week.
The Role:
As Business Analyst for SAP Supply Chain Management you will be a core member of the Business Applications Team within IT working closely with the business organization to drive continuous improvement by developing timely and innovative solutions. You will work closely with business groups to understand business problems, issues, and priorities and will provide production support activities as well as new functional enhancements and global project implementations.
You will ideally have experience implementing, supporting, and enhancing solutions on the SAP platform within Procure to Pay, Inventory Management, and Integrated Business Planning. Collaboration with other SAP functional and development teams to design, develop, test, and implement appropriate configuration within SAP S/4 MM is key for this role.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and support in the SAP S/4 MM and SAP IBP module areas. This includes designing end to end process solutions, writing documents, working with developers, configuring S/4 MM and SAP IBP functionality, unit testing, working with business users for user acceptance testing, performing cutover tasks, identifying master data and ongoing process impacts, and providing ongoing support. Identifying integration points and working with other SAP Functional and Technical team members to ensure solution success is a critical responsibility.
The role:
1. Working across SAP Materials Management (MM).
2. SAP configuration.
3. Working onn Purchase Orders and Scheduling agreements, stock transport orders, intercompany procurement, inbound deliveries, material requirements planning (MRP), inventory management and SAP IBP for demand planning.
4. Full cycle global SAP implementation or SAP system upgrade following a waterfall or agile methodology.
5. Understanding and gathering Business rules, Business requirements and end user cases.
6. Design processes and sub-processes and to think through the implications of those designs taking integration with Sales and Distribution, Production Planning and Financial Accounting into account. Provide cross functional flow diagrams depicting the integrated process.
7. Create functional requirements within a RICEF (Reports Interfaces Conversion Enhancement and Form) document and work collaboratively with a developer to deliver an effective solution.

8. Must be detail oriented, self-directed and have strong independent problem-solving skills.
9. Proven ability to work independently and collaborate closely with others to accomplish business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
10. Strong oral and written communication skills.
11. Bachelor's degree required.
