HRM have been exclusively retain to support this fast-growing, integrated Irish healthcare company who are headquarted in Meath. With a strong customer presence in the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australasia, and LATAM markets, the company has expanded significantly through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The organisation boasts a diverse portfolio of well-known brands and niche generic products, all tailored to patient needs. With ongoing expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Head of HR to drive the HR strategy for the UK and Irish operations where there a total of 160 employees. The majority of focus will be for the Irish operations. This is a newly created role that will sit on the senior leadership team and will report into the CFO/COO.
The Position
* Lead the design and execution of an HR roadmap aligned with the company's commercial objectives.
* Oversee the recruitment process, including job descriptions, recruitment strategies, and the selection process for senior management roles. Manage relationships with agency partners and drive the hiring of top talent.
* Ensure seamless onboarding experiences for new hires, design induction programs, and manage probation and exit processes.
* Implement a performance management framework, establish clear annual objectives, and foster a high-performance culture by training line managers on effective feedback and development.
* Provide guidance on employee relations matters and serve as the escalation point for complex issues. Promote employee engagement through strategic initiatives.
* Manage the company's compensation structure, benchmarking key roles, handling benefit packages, and overseeing pension offerings, including auto-enrolment.
The Person
* A minimum of 15 years in HR, with at least 5 years in a senior HR management role. Experience in building HR functions from the ground up, with expertise in recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and HRIS implementation.
* Experience in agile, fast-paced environments such as FMCG, retail, logistics, or contract manufacturing.
* In-depth knowledge of UK and Irish employment law, with a proven track record in navigating complex HR situations.
* Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field. CIPD qualification is desirable.
