Barden has exclusively partnered with a growing SME business based in Co. Kilkenny on a Senior Finance Manager role.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role reports to the CFO of the parent company and leads a small finance team. This will be a “hands on” role and will provide timely and accurate information to the CFO and Managing Director.
The role will oversee all financial operations of the business and requires a detail-oriented and strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of month end financial reporting
* Develop, monitor, and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
* Oversee finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
* Establish and maintain effective internal controls
* Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
* Coordinate and manage external audits
* Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
* Process and system improvement projects
* Collaborate with senior management and other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
* Qualified Accountant with approx. 5 years+ PQE
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* High level of integrity and attention to detail.
