Overview:
The Self-Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a selfstorage facility or facilities, if more than one site they will be within a reasonable commutable distance of each other, and a pool vehicle will be available to use. They are tasked with ensuring that customers have access to their stored items at all times, as well as maintaining an organized and clean space for all of its customers taking into account their health, safety and welfare at all times.
As a Sales Representative you will have good customer service skills, where nothing is too much trouble for our customers. You will have a good telephone manner, be IT proficient, having knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Hubspot) whereby time is of the essence to ensure that all enquiries are managed in a timely manner and being able to navigate your way around the IT stock system in order to ensure that stock is available to sell / hire, etc.
Responsibilities
1. Communicating, in person or via telephone with any potential, new and / or existing customers about rates, answering questions about rental terms and conditions, and resolving any customer service issues that arise during daily interactions with the Company and the facility / facilities.
2. Ensuring that all new, potential and existing customers are treated with courtesy and professionalism at all times.
3. Ensuring that all opportunities to maximise the sale to a customer are attained.
4. Managing the day-to-day operations of the facility or facilities including ensuring that the property is secure at all times. Ensuring that all products hired / sold to customers are clear and safe and fit for the intended purpose.
5. Management of the Aged Debt for all of the facilities customers, taking payment as and when necessary and chasing up payment as and when necessary. Communication with customers via telephone or in person will be necessary.
6. Conducting regular inspections of the facility to ensure it is clean and well maintained, ensuring PPE is worn as necessary when out on site.
7. Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and activities related to facility operations, including maintenance, repairs and legally compliant checks are carried out, such as PAT testing / fire equipment testing, five-year fixed wire inspections, etc.
8. IT efficient / and
9. Ensuring that all company health & safety policies and procedures are followed.
10. Ensuring all GDPR Policies are adhered to.
11. Ensuring that the Companies ISO policies and procedures are adhered to.
12. Any other duties commensurate with the role.
Requirements
13. Exceptional Customer Service Skills are key to this role.
14. Full Clean Driving License
15. Pleasant personality, where nothing is too much trouble.
16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
17. Adaptable to change and able to work well under pressure.
18. Problem solving and organisational skills.
19. The first point of contact for the managed facility to represent the Company in a professional manner.
20. Willingness to assist where necessary and to progress within the business.
21. Good attention to detail.
22. Excellent computer literacy across all Microsoft disciplines.
23. Must have some knowledge of CRM system’s (preferably Hubspot) in order to navigate sales enquiries.
24. Time management is key in this role in order to deal with customer enquiries in a timely manner.
25. Self-motivated and be able to self-manage as this will be a lone working role for the majority of the time.
