Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Specialist
The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Operations Specialist is to liaise with internal and external contacts to facilitate the timely supply of finished goods to the end customer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively liaise with Manufacturers and Distribution Centres globally to ensure inventory levels are maintained at the EMEA Delivery Centre.
* Monitor inventory and take appropriate action to solve supply issues.
* Support the various Cook Medical functions with query management for order fulfilment issues.
* Drive expedition of delivery of backordered products.
* Liaise with IT on any systems issues that may arise.
Product Communications:
* Provide timely product information and support for Customer Support & Distribution.
* Maintain product registry and product repository databases as required for specific relevant markets.
Freight Management:
* Professionally manage daily business relationship with key carriers.
* Resolve issues pertaining to key carriers daily.
* Compile and report on all carrier complaints, closing out within agreed SLA.
General:
* Evaluate and implement efficient supply chain processes and metrics.
* Ensure that the Cook Medical brand and image is communicated in a positive and consistent manner to all customers.
* Evaluate pertinent Quality and Regulatory requirements and departmental policies, practices and procedures.
Requirements:
* Qualification in planning/purchasing/APICS or other business-related area advantageous.
* Min 3 years' experience in a similar role within high volume regulated industry.
* Understanding of MRP in production environment advantageous.
