Job Description:
The Lifesaving Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting Water Safety Ireland's (WSI) mission to promote water safety and lifesaving activities, specifically Goal 3 of our Strategy: Nationwide provision of instruction in water safety and lifesaving courses, and the development of participation in lifesaving sport.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Technical Officer in key administrative functions related to delivering initiatives for public participation in lifeguarding.
* Support other Team members as needed.
Location:
This is a hybrid role based in Galway with frequent travel requirements.
Working Arrangements:
We operate under a Hybrid Working Policy allowing remote work up to three days and office attendance for a minimum of two days per week.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Contract Term and Probation: The position is initially offered for three years on a fixed-term basis, subject to satisfactory performance and WSI's financial resources. A 12-month probationary period applies from the start date.
2. Salary: €571.04 - €899.77 per week (rates effective from October 1st, 2024).
