Overview
Our client is looking for a vibrant, high-energy person with a passion for selling to join their closely knit team. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will join the Irish Civils Sales team where they will receive a full induction, product training, and further on-the-job training, although candidates with previous construction industry experience are desirable. They will be responsible for meeting agreed sales targets and increasing brand awareness.
Qualifications
1. A proven history of working to and achieving sales budgets/targets is a prerequisite.
2. Minimum 3 years’ field sales experience (desirable).
3. Full Irish Driving License is essential.
4. Experience using CRM systems.
5. Highly collaborative, organized, detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task.
6. Strong customer focus.
7. Advanced communication, presentation, negotiation, and selling skills.
8. Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
9. Well-developed IT and administration skills.
10. Time management and task prioritization skills.
Responsibilities
1. Take a pivotal, results-driven role in the team to drive the achievement of the Civils sales budget.
2. Strong team player with Key Account Management skills.
3. Increase the awareness of and aspiration for branded Civils products.
4. Assist in the creation of marketing campaigns to support brand development.
5. Identify new business opportunities with existing and new trade partners.
6. Can-do, positive attitude, dealing with orders and enquiries for existing and new customers.
7. Report sales progress via weekly/monthly sales meetings and weekly conference calls.
8. Utilize CRM software for daily activities, project tracking, market, and customer information.
9. Project manage large order values over extensive periods of time.
10. Carry out market research relating to market trends and changes to product sectors.
11. Accurately complete and submit expense reports monthly.
12. Effectively communicate market findings and customer insights to teammates and management.
13. Travel extensively through the Sales Region to attend customer/contractor sales meetings, conferences/exhibitions providing product training/demonstration.
14. Present on behalf of the company/brand at media and press events.
