Job Description
The site Quality Lead will play a key role within the management team, working in conjunction with the operations team to deliver site production requirements focusing on food safety and quality.
Key Duties:
* Food Safety & Quality Management System oversight
* Management of high-risk food production
* Compliance with regulatory standards
* Corrective & Preventative Action and Non-Conforming Product Management
* Raw material and stock control
* Adherence to customer specifications
* Customer liaison and complaint management
* Implementation of user-owned control procedures
* System self-assessment and audit support for customers
* Maintaining BRC and Bord Bia standards
* HACCP and hygiene requirement implementation
* Leadership in HACCP Team
* Product and process development
* Maintain quality, yield, and specification standards
* Coordination and recording of staff training
* Coordination of technical and maintenance suppliers
* Participation in continuous improvement activities (Lean Management)
* Staff management and support for site manager
* Attendance management and absenteeism procedures
* Grievance and disciplinary issue handling according to Company Policy
* Annual leave administration and probationary reviews
Requirements
You must have: Third level qualification in relevant industry Strong quality/technical experience within Food Manufacturing Experience of high-risk food production processes
