Job Purpose
To work as part of the Transitions Optical lab team, conducting tests to ensure product performance to specification.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out performance, colour and adhesion testing to ensure all Production lots are within defined specifications.
2. Carry out testing to ensure all solutions are within defined specifications.
3. Rx surfacing of test lenses and dropball testing.
4. Complete test requests to support troubleshooting/continuous improvement initiatives.
5. New product validation testing and reporting.
6. Laboratory instrument maintenance and calibration.
Key Requirements
1. Science Qualification an advantage, but not a requirement.
2. Good IT skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
3. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing process.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
5. Proven ability to work in a team environment.
6. Good problem-solving skills.
