We are now recruiting for a Social Media Executive Your role is defined in terms of the company's 4 main core values of Passion, Integrity, Ambition and Courage here at The Montenotte.
SCOPE OF THE JOB: To work in conjunction with the Director of Marketing & Communications and in conjunction with the Revenue and Business Development Team, to increase all revenue streams, ensuring budgeted sales are met at The Montenotte by attracting new business digitally to the hotel. Work closely with the marketing team to develop a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our overall marketing objectives.
This includes content themes and posting schedules across various platforms. Create on-brand, engaging and visually appealing content for all social media platforms, including but not limited to posts, stories, reels, short-form video content, and graphics. Monitor and engage with our social media community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote events, special offers, brand building, or new initiatives.
Collaborate with Director of Marketing, Spa, Food & Beverage, and Revenue to ensure campaign objectives are met and deliverables are produced on time and within budget. Utilise social media analytics tools to track key metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversions.
Analyse data to gain insights into the effectiveness of our social media efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimise performance. Strong ability to craft compelling captions, headlines, and calls-to-action that align with the brand's tone and voice while adhering to best practices for each social media platform. Proficiency in crafting engaging and informative newsletters to distribute to our subscriber base. To work with the Business Development Team, in promoting and marketing the hotel, on both a national and an international level, to raise the hotel profile, to retain and maintain existing business and develop new business, resulting in increased sales. To support the development and implementation of digital marketing and online strategy to achieve sales for the business. Monitoring of all online and digital content. The Hotels Website, Work within the hotels content management system (CMS) for content creation, implementation, and optimization. Management of hotel plug-ins (The Hotels Network). SEO and all aspects of organic search (through Core Optimisation). Understanding of display, PPC and other paid advertising channels. Management of customer databases, growth and email marketing (Revinate). Management of content, imagery on all 3rd party websites. Management of client feedback on 3rd party systems (TripAdvisor, Bookings.com, Expedia, Google to name a few). Social media - coordination of content that creates brand awareness and engagement and further grows our following. Communicate directly with our online customers. Reporting of the above on weekly and monthly basis. To compile and execute a "Quarterly Content Calendar" and support an annual digital marketing plan for the hotel as part of the overall Marketing and Business Development Strategy Plan. Support the Revenue Team with requests regarding the SEO content and PPC channels (working alongside our agency The SHR Group) MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your main role is the development and implementation of our Social Media Strategy our social presence (social reputation and social media) for the urban resort complex, from inception, creation and the coordination of content that creates brand awareness and engagement and further grows our following and delivered revenue results Drive all Organic Social and Paid Social activity of the hotel.

To compile and execute a "Quarterly Content Calendar" and create an annual digital marketing plan for the hotel as part of the overall Marketing and Business Development Strategy Plan. Monitoring of all digital and social media content and adaptation into the business.
The development of consistent and comprehensive content and analytics analysis for the hotel for our entire social media footprint Daily management of all social media channels and co-ordination of weekend content and responses and the sharing of UGC.
Video and photo editing for social media.
Assist our digital agency to drive the overall digital marketing strategies including search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM).
Assist in the execution of our strategic marketing plans against a defined hotel budget to maximize revenues for each of the individual revenue streams within the hotel to include Rooms and Apartments, Food and Beverage, Health Club, and Spa and the Woodland Experience.
A passion for industry trends and best practices and to be able to identify new social media and online opportunities for the business.
Ensuring the website's content is current, speaks directly to the luxury market and works on both desktop and mobile and always thinking of improvements to be made.
Working from the direction of the Revenue Manager, ensure our promotional offers are live on our website in a timely manner and as per marketing calendar and sent to relevant parties for updating.
Website changes, updates to all the pages as per marketing calendar (Applied for bedroom, F&B, Wellness, Cinema, and other segments).
Multi-agency liaison: Work with the hotel's agreed agencies, SHR Group and The Hotel Network to best deliver the desired outcomes.
Delivery of a set of KPI's by the Director of Business Development & Communications of the hotel.
Working with The Hotels Network ensuring system is used to its potential, optimizing for other areas outside of bedrooms.
Email marketing calendar is adhered to as per the digital marketing plan for the hotel, the spa and the health club.
Keep a review of all reviews on Revinate, TripAdvisor, Google reviews and 3rd parties daily and as required report any issues to the House Manager. Other reporting - Newsletter performance, Social Media channels THE CANDIDATE FOR THE POSITION WILL HAVE: A digital marketing qualification and a minimum of 9 months experience in a similar content driven social media role. A passion for all things social media with a particular interest in both Instagram and TikTok and understand how you drive luxury content in both channels and drive engagement.
Proven track record of strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and focus on which is required to meet deadlines.
Experience with web management, CMS, and e-commerce Be customer focused A willingness to assist a team environment and adapt to challenges to achieve objectives at hand.
