We are currently recruiting for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our IT department.
In this busy and varied role, you will lead all security topics and be involved in a number of new and exciting IT initiatives. Our brands are embarking on a new digital journey and you'll play a vital role in getting us there.
You'll be an experienced CISO with extensive experience in Information Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of key tasks including but not limited to the following:
1. Maintaining and developing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) of VGIE
2. Developing and implementing training & awareness programs to promote IT security throughout the organisation
3. Reviewing IT and business projects to ensure security standards have been incorporated (i.e. security by design)
4. Managing the development and implementation of local and Group security policies, guidelines and rules & procedures
5. Representing VGIE on information system security committees and workgroups
6. Overseeing the investigation of security breaches and incidents to determine the root cause and implement appropriate resolutions
7. Coordinating VW group and independent security audits and tracking actions through to completion
8. Participating in both data privacy and risk management activities within VGIE. Perform duties of local IT risk officer to coordinate risk management processes.
9. Coordinating, tracking & reporting on information security metrics
10. Ensuring continuous improvement of security posture through adoption of best practices from the VW Group and other industries
The successful applicant will have:
1. Professional security management certification
2. One or more of the following qualifications are highly desirable:
3. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
4. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
5. Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
6. MSc Information Security
7. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs
8. Knowledge of information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800-53 and TISAX
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity
10. Strong knowledge of data privacy and associated regulations
11. Strong organisation skills with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
12. Ability to be a team player but also be able to work on own initiative demonstrating "ownership"
13. Relevant 3rd level degree qualification and experience
