DescriptionFirst Derivative are currently seeking experienced Senior KYC Analysts on a large client project. The successful candidate will be employed on a one year fixed term contract, which will include base salary, health benefits and paid holidays. The role will require 2 days per week in our Dublin Office.
Key Responsibilities
As a KYC Analyst you will be responsible for:
· Conducting comprehensive Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews for new and existing customers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
· Identifying and mitigating potential risks by performing CDD (Customer Due Diligence) and EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) on the appropriate KYC case files.
· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for all KYC and CDD processes, ensuring proper audit trails and adherence to internal controls.
· Investigating and escalating potential red flags or suspicious activities to the appropriate teams in accordance with internal escalation protocols.
· Keeping up-to-date with the latest regulatory changes and industry best practices, as well as any changes to client-specific internal policies, and implementing them into daily KYC operations as required.
Candidate Criteria
· Self-starter who is proactive, and results driven.
· Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both colleagues and stakeholders, engaging across different levels of seniority.
· Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot inconsistencies or red flags in customer documentation and transaction history.
· Understanding of the customer lifecycle, from onboarding to periodic reviews and offboarding, ensuring adherence to KYC standards and controls.
· In-depth understanding of CLM and KYC tooling including screening and transaction monitoring processes.
· Strong understanding of global and local regulatory requirements, including AML, FATCA, and other compliance frameworks.
· Relevant certifications, such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), are desirable but not essential.
