We are currently recruiting an energetic and passionate Rooms Division Manager to oversee the Front Office and Housekeeping departments at Schull Harbour Hotel.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the Reception and Housekeeping departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
2. Maintain high-quality standards and ensure they are consistently met.
3. Train and manage team members in the implementation and follow-up of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
4. Create and manage department rosters efficiently.
5. Anticipate guest needs and proactively manage expectations.
6. Support the overall management of daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery across all departments.
7. Handle guest concerns promptly and effectively.
8. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the hotel and its departments.
Requirements:
1. Previous supervisory experience in Front Office and Accommodation/Housekeeping.
2. Strong working knowledge of reception and reservation systems.
3. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
4. A mature and professional demeanour when dealing with guests and team members.
5. Strong sales and up-selling skills, with the ability to promote all areas of the hotel and other properties within the group.
