About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our client’s team in Cork City, providing emergency accommodation to women, children, and families experiencing homelessness. The successful candidate will assist in delivering a service that offers a welcoming, compassionate, and professional environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the delivery of a service aimed at providing support to individuals experiencing homelessness
* Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the service
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote resident well-being and safety
* Provide guidance and support to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
* A recognised professional qualification in Social Care or equivalent
* A minimum of four years post-qualification experience
* Proven experience working within homeless services
