CAD & GIS Technician

CAD & GIS Technician required to join an established company within the thriving Renewable Energy Sector. As CAD & GIS Technician, you will work on renewable energy projects which span all stages of the project life cycle from feasibility to operation.

Responsibilities:

1. Assessing the feasibility of sites for renewable energy project developments using CAD & GIS software.
2. Projects within wind energy/solar energy/battery storage project inception, development, pre-construction, and construction phases.
3. Work on ad-hoc project programmes and deliver to the highest standards.
4. Preparing engineering, site layout and planning drawings for renewable energy projects, and associated transport and grid connection routes.
5. Aid in the preparation of design drawings and as-built drawings of new infrastructure to EirGrid/ESBN specifications.

Requirements:

6. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the team.
7. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software and CAD. Appropriate training will be given for other requisite software.
8. GIS experience is preferable, but training can be provided.
