Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to join our team as a Direct Freight Planner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first-class customer service by understanding and meeting client requirements.
* Plan, arrange, monitor, and manage Direct Land Transport (LTL & FTL), ensuring smooth Door-to-Door operations.
* Operate DB Schenker IT systems and Microsoft Office tools efficiently.
* Handle customer invoicing and ensure timely processing of costs and sales.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external trucking partners to optimize load capacity and gross profit across European trade lanes.
* Monitor and respond to customer feedback, resolve complaints, and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Support the onboarding of new clients for seamless integration into our operations.
About You:
* Previous experience in a similar or related role, ideally within the logistics or transport sector.
* A customer-focused mindset with excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
* Exceptional organizational abilities to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines in dynamic environments.
* Attention to detail and a creative problem-solving approach.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage customer accounts effectively and maintain up-to-date records.
