This role will sit in the Sky Ireland Marketing Team, recently awarded Marketing Team of the Year at the All-Ireland Marketing (AIMS) Awards. The Marketing team is responsible for driving the brand and growth strategy for Ireland across media, digital, propositions and creative. This role will be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of Sky media plans. This person will work within the Media Team to drive the media planning, co-ordination and evaluation of all Sky campaigns including but not limited to TV (Sky Q, Sky Glass, Sky Stream), Broadband, and Sky Premium Products (Sports & Cinema) and the launch of Sky Mobile in Ireland. The aim of this role is to drive demand (online traffic, offline calls & store visits) and drive consideration for Sky, through delivery of innovative, highly effective, and efficient media plans. This person should have a strong understanding of the Irish media landscape, be an expert in media planning across both traditional and digital channels, and an ability to work on multiple projects under pressure and to tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities Develop, manage and implement TTL media briefs and plans for Sky products Ensure we’re delivering new and innovative media plans that deliver on brand and sales objectives. Work with our media agency to make recommendations for media strategy & planning – have a keen understanding of target audience demographics & insights. Collaborate with media owners to deliver best in class partnerships. Liaise with creative teams and go to market teams to develop appropriate media strategies to achieve sales targets across all routes to market. Work alongside the PR team within Sky to align on campaign activity. Deliver test & learn initiatives across all media, ensuring effective measurement and reporting is in place. Liaise with various stakeholders including the Insights team to gain solid understanding of customer behaviour to allow greater media segmentation and continuous improvement of media strategies in line with insights. Understand, monitor and influence marketing measurement. Monitor and present a cohesive view of campaign media effectiveness – and make strategic recommendations for ongoing planning. Work closely with the econometrics team to ensure the most effective and efficient media plans are implemented. Support with management of Sky’s marketing budget, with a responsibility for tracking spend, including monthly reporting for finance. Manage all finance requests through the online system and financial sign offs /processes with our agencies. Monitor & report media market changes in the landscape and new developments, as well as review and report on competitor activities. Leverage UK media learnings and innovation to maximise budgets and apply to Ireland. What you’ll bring: Experience in media planning across all channels, with a big focus on digital channels. Media agency experience is desired. Media strategy, planning and analysis experience. Understanding of econometrics and other modelling techniques and be familiar with working alongside finance on budget management. Experience in a very fast moving, dynamic business environment, working to tight deadlines and prioritising workload. Strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a wider team, with natural leadership abilities. Strong interpersonal skills as internal & external relationships are key to the role. A strong eye for detail and impeccable organisational skills are crucial. Strong reporting and communication skills essential.
