Armont Recruitment have partnered with a rapidly expanding organisation seeking a company accountant to oversee the financial department based in their offices in Wexford Town. The successful candidate will oversee the whole finance function and will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, manage and record financial transactions and reports as well as ensuring compliance with accounting, tax and supply chain regulations. The role will suit a qualified accountant with SME practice experience seeking an initial move to industry or coming from a similar industry environment. The Role Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts Regularly prepare and update cash flow forecasts Reconcile bank accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis Manage the monthly payroll process Take the lead in annual budgeting and statutory accounting processes Provide support and guidance on project tender costings Coordinate with external stakeholders such as Revenue, Pension Advisors, Banks, Enterprise Ireland, Insurance Brokers, etc. Perform product costing, including direct (materials and labor) and indirect manufacturing costs Drive process development and implementation Other ad-hoc duties as required Candidate Requirements Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) or qualified by experience SME practice or industry experience Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounts Strong leadership and communication skills Proficient with IT systems as well as MS Office in particular MS Excel Rewards Competitive salary €50,000 to €60,000 Pension contribution 22 days annual leave Parking on site Genuine career advancement opportunities Skills: Basic Bookkeeping Financial Analysis Financial Accounting Payroll Account Reconciliation Product Costing Cost Accounting Benefits: Pension Fund Parking
