Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to lead the manufacturing activity and technical innovation, driving efficiency, quality, and safety in our production processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing operations meet customer demand, achieve operating plans, and align with our business objectives. He/She will lead a team of engineers and technicians, collaborating closely with other departments such as production, quality control, supply chain, and product development to ensure the smooth running of our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department, ensuring timely delivery of products and meeting production schedules.
* Develop and implement manufacturing processes that guarantee efficiency, quality, and safety, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
* Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and practices to optimize production processes and improve productivity.
* Work closely with product development and supply chain teams to introduce new products and processes successfully, ensuring timely delivery of materials and components.
* Monitor production processes, identifying and addressing any issues promptly to maintain high-quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, fostering a safe working environment for employees.
* Manage and develop a team of engineers and technicians to ensure high performance and engagement, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
* Drive efforts to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality through process improvements and technical innovations.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, supporting business objectives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technical innovations that enhance the manufacturing process and support business objectives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
* At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of success in leading operations and implementing technical innovations.
* Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams of engineers and technicians.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
