Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Enterprise Account Engineer to assist large video customers in optimizing, operating, and achieving the best performance from their streaming media workloads.
About the Role
The selected candidate will be part of a highly specialized team focused on Media Delivery architectures and workloads end-to-end. This team collaborates with top names in Broadcasting, Over-the-Top (OTT), Gaming, Sports, and Media and Entertainment space.
Responsibilities
* Act as the primary technical point of contact for high-value media workflows during live event delivery.
* Work across multiple AWS services to drive well-architected solutions and ensure high customer experience with overall content delivery performance.
* Interface with customer project managers and technical owners to understand key technical and operations requirements.
* Collaborate with Product Managers to define customer technical requirements.
* Collaborate with CloudFront performance teams to drive key customers' success initiatives.
* Oversee video delivery performance by monitoring both customer and service metrics.
* Identify, troubleshoot, mitigate, and resolve complex video delivery performance problems.
* Own customer-facing and internal communication during production impacting incidents.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
* 5+ years of experience with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) or commensurate experience with underlying technologies.
* 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or technical operations support with some customer-facing responsibilities.
* 3+ years of experience working in a technical role within a software engineering-focused business.
* Ability to travel up to 10% primarily regionally.
