Vie - Account Executive and Management Control Analyst H/F
CACI (Credit Agricole Creditor Insurance) is the Credit Agricole Assurances Group subsidiary specialising in creditor protection insurance (CPI). CACI is a major player in France and Europe, with around 30 partners in six countries. Since its establishment in 1999, and move into the Credit Agricole Assurance Division in 2008, CACI has been extending its business in partnership with retail banking and specialised financial services companies. Today CACI offers a comprehensive range of products designed to meet the “Financial Protection” needs of its customers and partners. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and provides exposure to a wide range of activities and projects, which are key to ensuring our success.
Responsibilities:
1. Verify accurateness, reliability, and completeness of technical data.
2. Assist in the preparation of monthly technical accounts.
3. Assist in the preparation of third-party administrator fees and insurance premium tax calculations.
4. Assist in the preparation of reinsurance accounts.
5. Assist in two key projects: (i) new technical accounting system and (ii) Group IFRS17.
6. Preparation of account reconciliations.
7. Maintain and update Departmental procedures.
8. Provide support to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
9. Prepare regular updates of the underlying reserving data.
10. Act as back-up for the team leader in their absence.
11. Participate in the improvement of processes and deliverables.
Management Control Activities:
1. Participate in quarterly closings for management reporting.
2. Contribute to the preparation of the Annual Budget, Quarterly Forecasts, and Quarterly review of budget for Contrôle de Gestion, Business Units, and Group.
3. Follow CACI’s business volumes and activity for analysis and communication to CACI’s stakeholders (CFO, Branches, Group).
4. Participate in the improvement of processes and deliverables.
External Relations:
1. Develop and maintain good relationships with other key stakeholders.
2. Liaise closely with line Manager.
3. Maintain good relationships with auditors – external and internal.
4. Work closely with business partners and third-party administrators.
Qualifications:
1. Accounting technician.
2. Business studies in accounting and management control.
