This is a challenging and fulfilling opportunity with the potential to develop your range of skills significantly. You will be a key member of client service teams helping companies identify gaps in current processes with a view of developing recommendations to improve finance processes, backed by a clear vision and strong executive sponsorship to influence finance strategy and operations. We value problem solving skills, adaptability, strong communication skills and the ability to remain logical in ambiguous situations.About the role:Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver and manage projects in one or more of the following areas:Finance Process Excellence (e.g. R2R or P2P or O2C)Designing and implementing process improvements for a client’s Finance functionDeveloping strategies and plans for process implementation.Automating accounting functions such as RTR, PTP, OTC etc to deliver higher quality and more accessible financial informationUndertaking Finance diagnostic exercises to understand the 'health' of client’s Finance processes and identifying what is required to solve the challenges it facesProviding quality advice to clients based on experience and leading industry practiceProject management and business developmentAbout you:Qualified accountant with ACA, CIMA or other accounting qualification, and a strong academic record is desirable.Strong and recent experience of finance transformation projects and programmes with a specific focus on Finance process design and implementation. (e.g. R2R, P2P, O2C)Project experience and expertise in areas such as current state assessment, benchmarking analysis, maturity assessment, Chart of Accounts redesign, finance process transformation, process mapping, root cause/gap analysis/best fit, requirements gathering / definition development, financial modelling and value mappingPrior consulting experience in finance transformation or significant roles in large scale finance transformation projects in industry is desirableIs a tech savvy individual with a general curiosity around technology and particularly how it can be leveraged in a professional context across organisations.Ability to effectively balance several tasks, work to deadlines, and produce quality deliverables.If you believe that you meet most of the criteria above, we encourage you to apply.
