About the Role
The Bid Co-Ordinator will be primarily responsible for managing and co-ordinating the necessary activity to respond to request for proposals (RFPs) from customers. This role involves taking ownership of all formal tenders and major proposals, ensuring timely submission of winning bids.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble bid teams with relevant service/product/business knowledge to prepare winning bids.
* Manage opportunities from initial assessment through to contract award, including value proposition/strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification, and risk management.
* Introduce and implement sell and win procedures, governance, and processes.
* Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from various stakeholders, contributing to sales, marketing, competency, finance, legal, and delivery.
* Track and manage issues and risks throughout the bid process.
* Prepare and review commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer.
* Contribute to written proposal content and presentation.
Requirements:
* Experience managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
* Previous bid management and presales experience is desirable but not essential.
* Solid understanding of service offerings, procurement processes, and business or technical writing skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
* Able to set and meet objectives, prioritise workloads efficiently, and communicate effectively.
