We have an excellent opportunity for a Pastry Chef de Partie to join our five-star Park Hotel Kenmare, a member of Relais & Chateaux.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with fine dining experience to progress their career and to be involved in creating a unique pastry offering to our customers.
Duties include:
1. Focus on customer satisfaction by providing the highest food quality in the kitchen sections, ensuring outstanding attention to detail.
2. Follow the Park Hotel Kenmare Kitchen standards of quality, preparation, and recipes.
3. Ensure product consistency in terms of seasonings, portions, and appearance of dishes.
4. Be able to self-motivate to ensure that mis-en-place is always prepared for the day ahead.
5. Have a strong creative mind for food presentation and be able to bring new ideas to menu creation.
6. Maintain a good working relationship with the rest of the kitchen team as well as Front of House, ensuring good communication.
7. Ability to work under pressure at times with the kitchen team.
8. Comply with health and safety regulations, including HACCP.
9. Ensure supplies of ingredients and consumables are ordered routinely.
Our ideal chef has an excellent understanding of their produce and an eye for attention to detail. They will contribute ideas, be good organisers, and be flexible. They have impeccable standards, are adaptable, and have a strong passion for what they do, playing an active role in supporting the team.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 1 - 2 years previous pastry experience in a similar environment.
2. Proven background in a fine dining kitchen or equivalent as a Demi Pastry Chef de Partie.
3. College training preferred.
4. Good spoken English.
5. Creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
