As a Senior Data/Business Analyst, you will be part of a pharmacy analytics team; focused on using data analysis to provide insight and understanding on pharmacy claim data. You will be a key team member, leading data analytics projects and working with a broad spectrum of business stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities of the role:
1. Analyze and interpret diverse and complex data using Python and SQL
2. Translate business needs and problems into analytics, and then communicate those complex data findings as clear, business-friendly narratives
3. Present insights to all levels of management through presentations, dashboards, and reports tailored for non-technical audiences
4. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring insights are easily understood and actionable
5. Create documentation to explore and confirm business requirements
6. Implement analytic activities to support decision-making across multiple lines of business
7. Implement process improvement initiatives and automation for efficiency where appropriate
8. Be responsible for the delivery of results and the support of business strategies derived from data insights
9. Participate in all phases of a project life cycle including database design, process flow, benchmark and trend analysis, and modelling
10. Provide recommendations to the development team regarding query optimization

Required Qualifications of the Senior Data/Business Analyst:
1. A degree in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
2. Proven track record of translating data insights into business recommendations
3. Proven ability to simplify complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights
4. Data manipulation and data transformation skills and proficiency in SQL and Python
5. Strong understanding of relational database concepts
6. Proficient in researching, interpreting, and analyzing diverse and complex data, and assessing data quality
7. Experience in deploying large scale analytical solutions or working in a large multinational company
Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Data/Business Analyst:
1. Proficiency in a visualization tool like Excel, Tableau, PowerBI or QlikView/QlikSense etc
2. Experience or knowledge with cloud-based data analytics e.g. (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
3. Experience in healthcare industry, either from a pharmaceutical background or consulting firm
4. Experience in tools such as Databricks, Airflow, GitHub actions, Azure cloud environment – Data factory, Data Lake
