The Role: The Financial Administrator will play a key role in managing the companys day-to-day financial activities, including debtor and creditor management and providing essential office and finance administration support. This role is vital for ensuring timely and accurate financial processing and record-keeping, contributing to the overall efficiency of the the finance and office operations. Key Responsibilities: Debtor and Creditor Management: Manage accounts receivable and payable. Send timely invoices, track outstanding payments, and follow up where necessary. Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies. Process payments and receipts accurately, maintaining organized records. Day-to-Day Bookkeeping: Record financial transactions in the companys accounting system. Perform regular bank reconciliations to keep records up-to-date. Assist in preparing financial statements to provide insights into company performance. Account Management: Monitor and manage company cash flow for optimal financial health. Work with the Accountant to prepare financial reports and support tax filing in Ireland and the UK. Coordinate and assist with the preparation of Annual Audits. Finance Administration: Support financial planning and analysis efforts. Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures to maintain compliance. Prepare and present bi weekly reports Office Administration: Manage general office operations and procedures for a smooth workflow. Maintain inventory of office supplies, placing orders as necessary. Coordinate with the landlord and ensure office equipment maintenance. Person Specification Education and Qualifications: Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA, CIMA credentials are desirable but not essential. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in financial administration or bookkeeping. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero) and MS Office, especially Excel. Experience in office administration is an advantage. Skills and Abilities: Strong numerical and analytical skills for accurate financial handling. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Good organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Personal Attributes: High integrity and ethical standards, with a proactive approach to work. Discretion in handling confidential information.
