McWilliam Park Hotel are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to join their team in Claremorris, County Mayo!
Role & Responsibilities
The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for drawing up the annual Sales & Marketing Plan, in line with revenue KPIs, budgets & hotel resources. They will manage the Sales & Marketing departments & work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure room revenue targets are met.
This is a senior management role requiring a focus beyond the sales department and into the operational team, to gain a full understanding of the business and how to continue its success. They will advise management on market trends and potential opportunities for revenue generation for the business as a whole.
Duties include:
1. Develop the overall sales & revenue strategy and propose the key account objectives and activities.
2. Develop the online and offline marketing, brand and public relations strategy for the hotel.
3. Develop the advertising strategy, both traditional and digital, for the hotel in line with the hotel budget.
4. Oversee online marketing of the brand website, social channels and brand presence across all online platforms.
5. Develop social media strategy to assist marketing and sales efforts.
6. Develop good working relationships with key accounts; leverage account knowledge to increase revenue generated from that account.
7. Sell bedrooms, conferences, events, meetings, weddings, food & beverage and other hotel services.
