Cpl recruitment are partnering with a successful global financial organisation in recruiting for a QA Automation Engineer to join their team, supporting the Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) FenX Project. This role involves both manual and automated testing, ensuring the seamless operation of customer on-boarding processes by enhancing and scaling our test automation framework. The QA Automation Engineer will work closely with business, internal IT teams, and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality test automation solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with project teams to design and implement automation strategies for regression, system integration testing (SIT), and UAT phases, tailored to CLM tools.
2. Identify and escalate risks related to quality issues during project phases, ensuring early mitigation of risks.
3. Develop and implement automation frameworks and API solutions for Fenergo FenX, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
4. Test data migration and integration between systems, leveraging SQL for data validation and reconciliation.
5. Develop automated test scripts for functional and integration testing across various systems, including CRM, KYC tools, and core banking systems.
6. Support cloud-based deployments (e.g., Azure, AWS) and CI/CD pipeline integration for test environments.
7. Execute manual and automated tests, identify software defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. Ensure defects are tracked using tools like JIRA and XRAY.
8. Conduct performance testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with business users.
Qualifications:
1. 6+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on test automation in financial services or related domains.
2. Experience with Fenergo Fen-X or similar platforms is preferred.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
4. ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification preferred.
5. Experience in client lifecycle management (CLM) processes and regulatory compliance is a plus.
6. Minimum stamp 4 Visa.
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Expertise in automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, UiPath), programming languages (C#, Java, Python), and API testing (Postman, ReadyAPI).
2. Proven experience developing test automation solutions for functional and integration testing in agile environments.
3. Proficiency in SQL for database testing and data validation.
4. Experience with cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines for automation frameworks.
5. Proficiency in using tools like JIRA and XRAY for defect tracking and test management.
6. Familiarity with financial regulations such as AML, FATCA, and GDPR.
7. Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and manage requirements.
Note: This is an initial 6 Month fixed term contract with a view for extension/permanency.
