Supply Chain Strategy Lead
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping procurement and contracting strategies, contributing to the overall performance of the supply chain process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with external suppliers to gather market intelligence and foster collaboration.
* Prepare comprehensive strategy packs for handover to the Tender Delivery Team and develop presentations and papers for governance committee approvals.
* Provide in-depth analysis of market conditions to inform strategy development and benchmarking with peer organizations.
* Liaise with key stakeholders to adopt best practices in contract and procurement development.
* Oversee the management of company frameworks and direct reports across various locations to deliver strategic outputs effectively.
* Track and maintain supplier performance targets and KPIs, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
* Prepare and update monthly reports for the Supply Chain Strategy, engage with business stakeholders, and develop strong working relationships across departments.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a procurement focused role, with experience in developing and driving strategic decisions.
* A relevant third-level qualification and/or accreditation is desirable.
* Demonstrable experience in end-to-end procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
* The ability to build and maintain effective strategic partnerships both internally and externally.
* A highly motivated individual, with a commitment to working to the highest professional standards and delivering results.
* Excellent analytical skills, with the capability to identify problems, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
Estimated Salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum
