Job Title: Supply Chain Professional - Sustainability and Supplier Responsibility
About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious supply chain professional with a keen interest in Sustainability and Supplier responsibility management to join our team.
This is a new role that will involve a lot of collaboration with other departments and our suppliers, reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain and dotted line reporting to the Quality Manager.
Main Responsibilities
1. Drive the supplier onsite audit program in collaboration with our quality department.
2. Evaluate new suppliers as a member of our supplier evaluation team.
3. Formulate a supplier rating system based on department KPIs.
4. Work as part of a team to achieve our supply chain KPIs, including dual sourcing, cost reduction, and supplier management.
5. Lead our responsible sourcing program and manage our annual Ecovadis submission.
6. Represent the supply chain team for customer and Standards Certification audits.
7. Contribute to our established CSR and Sustainability Strategy, including re-shoring initiatives.
8. Participate in value analysis programs.
9. Train our suppliers in company policies and procedures and ensure they are compliant with our standards.
10. Ensure our Supply Chain policies and procedures are up-to-date.
11. Sourcing capabilities and industry knowledge to act as a backup to the buying team.
Requirements
1. A third-level degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Quality.
2. Auditing experience would be an advantage (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 450001).
3. Minimum 5 years' experience in a supply chain or technical role.
4. Time management and task prioritization skills.
5. Good project management and leadership skills.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. A keen eye for detail with a strong ability to multi-task.
8. The ability to travel throughout Europe regularly and occasionally to Asia.
